Dan's the man
I have waited a little time to able to write this post.how delighted was I that the baby faced assassin Dan Kemp has just got a call up for a Young England squad to play in the prestigious Toulon Tournament.
On the 28/9 last year I posted an article There is Hope[maybe a long way away] and I quote "one lad came over to the dug out and I thought he was one of the ball boys, looked about 14 and had not started shaving yet and to my surprise he was part of the team. He was several inches shorter than anyone else.Amazingly they put him on for the whole of the second half. His name is Dan Kemp ,he has the quickest feet I have seen for sometime and gave their right side defence a headache for the whole of the second half"
I have followed the Under 23s a lot this season and there has been a big usage of players but he has been ever present.I was very pleased they were able to play their last couple of games at the London Stadium. I went to the last match against Middlesborough, they were missing the likes of Burke,Browne,Aquina,Holland,Samealson,
Dobson,Cullen and Martinez[who by the way is playing in the playoff final at Newcastle tonight]
I took some German friends and they really enjoyed it.The boys played really well for the first 44mins and you guessed it Middlesborough free kick wicked deflection 0-1.Second half within 15 mins 2 horrendous defensive/goalkeeping errors
0-3 pulled on back late on.
As we were sitting about 3 rows back from the pitch with only about 1000 spectators you could hear everything from the pitch and I sure the players could hear all the comments on the Dug out side.
There were about 8 guys together who had had a good drink spent the whole of the second half haranguing Dan Kemp with"come on Dan your the man or Man up Dan and the like".Initially it was quite funny but for 45mins it was definitely over the top.
To his credit he played really well and if it had been me I would have walked over and said I was in a West Ham shirt and playing at the London Stadium. Even the people I was with thought Dan was definitely The Man.
At the end of the game he was completely knackered a still these Guys were giving it at pitchside,he calmly got up a walked over to them and signed their programmes.
Top Lad we should be proud we have good characters at our club and I hope he gets to play for the 1st Eleven

Yeah you're right, oh apart from lanzini, byram, masuaku, and fernandes of course who have all played and started this season. plus the likes of rice, quina, fletcher, oxford etc who have all been on the bench.

I'm in total agreement with Isaac on this.

Cheers Hammerama for the report and sorry there are so many absolute fucking cocks on this site.

I'm not singling you out Gank (like you could give a fuck if I did anyway) but you constantly go on about threads that are not about West Ham then belittle a bloke who follows the under 23s? You used to be one of my favourite posters and you were missed when you fucked off the site- what's happened?

A lot of the rest of you are irredeemable fuckwits and always have been.

Thanks for reading.

Hammerama, thanks for taking the time to write this, I appreciated it at least.

To the rest of you, thanks for the hilarity. The day that an article about an up and coming player in the youths gets utterly minge-ed off by all and sundry is a sad one indeed.

Every one of the playing staff under the age of 25 actually appears as 'invisible' at our club these days.

It's a highly rare degenerative optical condition called Croatian Cunt-Eye.
